There’s so many small steps you can take to bring your recipe to the next level. This recipe is such a good example how! Taking the time to brown your meat properly, deglaze the pan, crack the coconut cream, and cooking the noodles with the sauce are all small ways that can make such big differences.
Ingredients:
250g ground beef
3 cloves of garlic, finely diced
1 inch ginger, finely diced
3 spring onions, sliced (white and green separated)
1 green chili sliced in half
7-8 Thai basil (separated in half)
1 can of coconut milk
2 tbsp sambal paste (adjust for spice preference)
1 tbsp peanut butter
1 tbsp tomato paste
200g noodles of choice (I used Shanxi)
2 tsp sesame oil
1 tsp rice vinegar
salt to taste
2 tbsp crushed peanuts (optional)
