This week's update!
2 new recipes, Prague recap, and a weekly meal plan + grocery list
Hello hello hello!!!! I know we’re late, but we’re here!
Wow, this past week has been an absolute whirlwind.
For those who don’t know, I was in Prague this week as a guest chef representing Pakistani food. The Pakistani ambassador to the Czech Republic invited me, and I got to travel there, curate a menu, and work with the chefs at the restaurant to bring a taste of Pakistan to Prague.
It was probably the most anxiety-inducing week of my life, yet one of the best.
Pakistani food is notoriously divisive, and the fact that I was twisting some of them and having Czech chefs cook them (people who haven’t even had Pakistani food before), one could say I was fairly nervous.
Luckily, it went off without a hitch, and the event went wonderfully.
But that took up all week, and as soon as I landed back in London, I was working back-to-back shifts at the restaurant all weekend. No rest for the wicked, huh?
So, Substack was a little delayed this week around, a story that I never aim to repeat but one that occasionally occurs due to circumstances out of my control.
