Nicely plated dishes that are usually not that good. Beautiful interiors. Servers that seem to have been trained at Zara (pretty and act as if they’re doing you a favour). Overpriced. All for Instagram. Eating out in London is becoming unbearable :) Great review!
I’m thinking most people would not be interested in paying upfront if you don’t even know what you are getting. They also need better messaging about the service.
It’s especially disappointing when you had high expectations. Looks like they got all their friend, 12 of them, to write reviews on Google, Everyone gave them 5 stars! I remember going to the French Laundry, back in the 90s. We had a really early reservation, but we had to wait in the bar for awhile until we were seated. They food was amazing, every bit of it but there was like 40 min between the appetizer and the main. Then they brought out a highly polished copper sauté pan with my filet, but it was raw! They just wanted to show it to me before cooking. I’m t screaming inside, Please go cook that! I’ve had 2 glasses of wine! 🤣😂
you're much nicer than me! i understand the element of surprise but it has to be accompanied by good food and service, the service here would have put me off entirely!

Most expensive meal I’ve ever had.
